The attorneys of Mandelbaum Salsburg have been practicing community association law since the late 1980s. The practice includes condominiums, homeowners associations and co-operative forms of ownership. We are experienced in the delivery of those types of services that are related to all forms, yet we recognize that there are differences in each that require a thorough knowledge of applicable laws. Our services include document review and amendment, contract review and negotiation, attendance at Board meetings, collection of fees and charges, oversight of elections, drafting resolutions, alternate dispute resolution and employment relations.
We have been members of the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Association Institute, the professional organization for this area of law, since 1992. Participation in this organization helps us to stay abreast of changes in the law, and to become familiar with those community association professionals in the areas of accounting, management and engineering. Ask anyone in this area of practice if they have heard of Mandelbaum Salsburg, and you will always get a positive reaction.
Our community association practice started from a unique perspective. We started working for developers in the late 1980s in writing Public Offering Statements for condominiums and homeowners associations. We continue to write the documents that govern community associations to this day. In representing developers we have insight into their point of view as we now represent associations in transition from developer control. Our background in development, and our experience in planning and zoning, help us to better represent an association taking control from a developer.
We hope that you take a moment to call us with your questions. We are confident that you won't be disappointed in selecting us for your community association work.
