Our Family Law Department provides a wide variety of services to our clients. A significant portion of the practice is devoted to negotiating and when necessary, litigating matrimonial matters. We represent our clients in divorce actions, alimony and child support disputes, custody, parent time-sharing, palimony, adoption matters and domestic violence complaints. Our team also regularly handles the full array of post-judgment issues such as alimony and child support modification proceedings and appeals. Our attorneys are also available to mediate matrimonial disputes.
The Department prides itself on protecting our clients' interests through the negotiation and preparation of sophisticated prenuptial, marital, separation and property settlement agreements. In so doing, our lawyers draw on the considerable and diverse expertise of other departments, including the Trust and Estates, Tax, Real Estate and Corporate Departments.
