Ms. Fox is counsel to the firm, concentrating in the areas of Trusts and Estates and Tax-Exempt Organizations. Ms. Fox's trusts and estates practice focuses on the structuring and implementation of sophisticated estate and transfer tax plans for entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals, including plans for family wealth transfer purposes and philanthropic purposes. Her practice also includes the management of estate and gift tax examinations and all other aspects of complex estate and trust administration. Ms. Fox’s tax-exempt organizations practice includes the representation of private foundations from formation through dissolution, including monitoring compliance with state and federal regulations, advising on administrative matters with particular emphasis on grant-making activities and analyzing annual foundation information returns.
Ms. Fox is a member of the New York bar and New Jersey bar. She received her J.D., cum laude, in 1991 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law, where she was an associate editor of the Penn Law Review. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1988 from Brandeis University, and was Phi Beta Kappa. Ms. Fox is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Trusts & Estates Section) and the New Jersey State Bar Association (Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section).
