Mr. Vena specializes in real estate and land use matters. He regularly represents the firm's clients on land use applications before state and municipal agencies. He served as counsel to the West Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment from 1978-1987 and co-chaired the Land Use Committee of the Essex County Bar Association from 1986-1987. He has lectured on the "Practical Analysis of Applications Before Zoning and Planning Board with an Overview on Recent Amendments to the Municipal Land Use Act." He served as the Trustee of the West Orange Senior Citizen Housing Association from 1976-1980 and was the Chairman from 1976-1979. He has also been a Trustee of the Eagle Rock Senior Citizen's Housing Association from 1978 to 2005,serving as Secretary/Treasurer from 1978-1997, and serving as Chairman from 1997 to 2005. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State and American Bar Associations. Mr. Vena earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics from Boston College and his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
