Avrom is one of the founding members of the firm. He has represented the firm's clients in all types of commercial disputes in state and federal court as well as before administrative agencies. He also handles tax appeals on behalf of significant property owners.
He is a former Deputy and Assistant Attorney General of the State of New Jersey and represented the Departments of Banking and Insurance, Conservation and Economic Development and Community Affairs and the New Jersey Racing, Real Estate and Alcohol Beverage Control Commissions. Avrom acted as Special Counsel to The Department of Community Affairs and served as Condemnation Counsel to the New Jersey Highway Department (now The Department of Transportation) prosecuting eminent domain cases. He has served as a member and panel chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court District Ethics and Fee Arbitration Committees for Essex County. Several of his articles concerning takings in inverse condemnation and Freshwater Wetlands cases have been published.
He received his law degree from Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the Essex County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations.
