Deborah specializes in matrimonial litigation. She also has extensive experience in personal injury and insurance defense litigation. She has developed her litigation expertise by serving as an mediator in both civil and matrimonial law for the Superior Court of New Jersey. Deborah has appeared as an expert commentator on Court TV, MSNBC and Fox News Channel. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey in the Federal Rights, Employment, and Corrections Section, practiced general litigation in the private sector and has also served as the Municipal Public Defender in both Mendham Borough and Mendham Township.
She was formerly the law clerk to the Honorable Daniel R. Coburn, J.S.C. and an intern to the Honorable Kenneth C. MacKenzie, J.S.C., both in the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Deborah received her B.A. from Howard University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. She is a member of the Morris County and New Jersey State Bar Associations.
