William Barrett is a partner of the firm, a member of the firm's executive committee and Chairman of the Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Barrett has many years experience specializing in business formations, mergers and acquisitions, private equity placements, commercial finance transactions, and intellectual property matters.
Mr. Barrett often serves as outside general counsel to his clients and advises them on issues concerning employment law compliance, structure of executive compensation programs and agreements, as well as business succession and related tax planning.
Mr. Barrett's representative clients include commercial organizations and entrepreneurs in the areas of manufacturing, industry, service, banking, finance, construction, real estate development, as well as medical professionals of varying disciplines.
Mr. Barrett has served on the President's Advisory council for Dominician College in Orangeburg, New York; the Advisory Board of Red Oak Bank, Morristown, New Jersey; counsel to the Dental Recourse Alliance; the New Jersey State PBA Physician's Association; and the Advisory Board of the Heritage Community Bank in Randolph, New Jersey.
